Hungary blocks document on military aid to Ukraine

Hungary blocked a draft document on security guarantees and new military aid to Ukraine at a meeting of EU ambassadors on Friday.
Report informs via Politico that Budapest rejected the draft document on Ukraine, which included provisions on security guarantees that the EU could provide to Kyiv, as well as on a new package of military aid.
On February 24, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó stated that Hungary would not agree to the European Union providing military aid to Ukraine worth tens of billions of euros and would oppose hasty decisions on extending individual sanctions against Russian individuals and companies.
