Health Minister reveals when first COVID-19 vaccine will be ready in EU

The first vaccination against novel coronavirus will be available to the European Union (EU) citizens in March next year, said Belgian Health Minister Maggie de Block.
"Theoretically, the first drug will be from Sanofi and will be available in Belgium and other EU countries in March," he told Belgium's RTBF television channel.
According to her, the vaccine will be given to the first doctors and the most vulnerable citizens.
Earlier, the European Commission was in talks with several pharmaceutical companies, including Sanofi, to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine.
