Türkiye, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan intend to create a quadrilateral mechanism to combat the ISIS terrorist organization in the region, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told Anadolu Agency, Report informs.
According to Fidan, this mechanism will also ensure the security of common borders between the countries.
"Initial agreements have already been reached. The first meeting within the framework of this mechanism will be held in Jordan in a 3+3 format with the participation of foreign ministers, defense ministers, and heads of intelligence services," he said.
