Guterres eyes convening meeting of Security Council permanent members on Afghanistan

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has confirmed to reporters that he intends to meet with the ambassadors of the countries that are permanent members of the Security Council on Afghanistan, Report informs referring to TASS.
Guterres made the remark while answering a question about the purpose of the consultations.
These are ordinary meetings held at the UN, the secretary-general replied.
Guterres also condemned the bombings in Kabul in the strongest terms.
