Greek coast guard rescues 48 migrants off Gavdos

Forty-eight irregular migrants were rescued during an operation off Greece's Gavdos island, Report informs, citing Greek media.
"Two people were rescued by a FRONTEX vessel, seven by a passing ship and another 39 by a coast guard boat," the coast guard said.
A coast guard vessel and a rescue boat in the area are continuing the search for missing people.
