Federal Minister of the Interior and Integrated Territorial Development Nancy Feser and Federal Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Germany Hubertus Heil visited the Kyiv region on Monday, Report informs, citing Interfax-Ukraine,
"I thanked the guests from Germany... for coming to Ukraine and Irpin despite the threat, with assurances of further support and assistance to the Ukrainian people," mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Markushin said on telegram.
He added that, according to the German guests, they arrived in Ukraine in order to help and support the Ukrainian people."
