Georgian ambassador, US senator mull strengthening US-Georgia relations

Georgian Ambassador to the US Tamar Taliashvili has met with US Senator Steve Daines, during which the parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation, Report informs.
"It was my pleasure to meet with the US Senator, Steve Daines, a true patriot. We discussed the opening of a new chapter in US-Georgian relations, strengthening of the existing ties, as well as the importance of peace and prosperity in our region," Taliashvili wrote on X.
On September 1, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili sent an open letter to US President Donald Trump, in which he expressed hope for the resumption of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
