Leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) nations are planning to urge Israel to refrain from conducting a full-scale military operation in the city of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, according to Report, which cites Bloomberg.
The draft document obtained by the agency states, "We are deeply concerned about the consequences of ground operations in Rafah for the civilian population, as well as the possibility of a full-scale military operation that will lead to even more severe consequences. We call on the Israeli government to refrain from this operation."
