The leaders of the G7 nations are set to urge Hamas to accept the ceasefire initiative proposed by US President Joe Biden.
Report informs via Russian media that this plea will be included in the communiqué to be published at the end of the G7's annual meeting, which is scheduled to take place this week.
In addition to calling on Hamas to agree to the truce, the G7 countries will also appeal to Israel to de-escalate tensions following the full-scale military offensive in Rafah.
