French stores begin to run out of food

Due to the blockade of highways by protesting farmers, stores in France have begun to run out of various goods, Report informs, citing BFMTV.
In recent days, protesting farmers have destroyed the produce of several foreign trucks transporting fresh vegetables and fruits. In addition, meat, fish, cheeses, yogurts, and bread disappeared from some stores.
Earlier in France, police detained 79 farmers while trying to seize a market near Paris. It was also reported that French farmers with 150 tractors staged a protest in the center of Orleans. The protests are expected to continue until the end of the month.
