French FM: EU still has options for new sanctions against Russia

The European Union has other options for new sanctions against Russia, including individual ones, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said, Report informs via foreign media.

“Europe has already adopted six packages of sanctions against Russia, as well as a seventh, although it is not officially called the seventh. But we still have options for introducing new sanctions, including individual ones,” the French minister said.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had discussed with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen the preparation of the eighth package of sanctions against Russia.
