Five Albanian nationals to be extradited from Dubai

Five Albanian citizens suspected of committing crimes are to be extradited from Dubai, the UAE, Report informs, citing the Albanian State Police.

According to the statement, information exchange with Abu Dhabi authorities led to the arrest of five Albanians placed on international wanted lists in Dubai, and their extradition to Albania is now planned.

Of the group, four are suspected of drug-related criminal activity, while one is linked to computer fraud.

Currently, Interpol Tirana is working with Dubai authorities to finalize extradition procedures. At the same time, checks are being conducted regarding another Albanian citizen in Dubai, who is suspected of using forged documents.
