Finland to buy bombs from US for F-35 fighter

Finland will purchase ammunition for the F-35 fighter jet from the US for $96 million, deliveries will be carried out from 2024 to 2030, reads the message of the country’s Ministry of Defense, Report informs referring to foreign media.
“Minister of Defense Antti Häkkänen has authorized the Defense Forces to sign a contract with the US for the supply of JDAM and SDB I ammunition for the F-35 multirole fighter,” reads the statement.
In addition to the JDAM and SDB I bombs, the procurement includes overhead accessories such as spare parts, transportation services, training and support services, etc.
