Explosion hits key oil pipeline in Russia's Saratov region

In the Krasnoarmeiskyi district of Russian Federation's Saratov region, on September 8, around one o'clock at night local time (GMT+4), there was a powerful explosion on a main oil pipeline, according to RBC-Ukraine, Report informs.

As a result of the explosion, the main oil pipeline, Kuibyshev-Lysychansk, which supplied the occupation army with oil products, was put out of service. According to the source, the capacity of the affected facility is 82 million tons per year.

In the morning, after the explosions at the scene of the event, an accumulation of workers was observed who were trying to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

According to the data from the sources, this is already the third object of the oil and gas infrastructure of Russia put out of service only during the past day.

Earlier it was reported about explosions on gas pipelines and oil pipelines in the Penza region of the Russian Federation.

As in the previous cases, the informational resources of Russia explain the series of explosions on strategic infrastructure in the Saratov region as "planned exercises."

As a result of a fire due to an attack by unknown drones on September 9, tanks of an oil depot in Prokhorovka of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation were damaged.
