European Commission asks employees to remove TikTok from corporate phones

The European Commission (EC) has asked its employees to remove the Chinese social networking app TikTok from corporate phones, EURACTIV said, Report informs via TASS.
The decision is related to the adoption of cybersecurity measures by the EC.
Earlier, Reuters reported that the EU might tighten rules on the social network TikTok, as the number of its active users exceeds the threshold set by the European Digital Services Act.
