The European Union intends to create a special mechanism for annual military supplies of €5 billion for Ukraine until 2027 within the framework of the European Peace Fund, Report informs.
“We proposed to create a special line dedicated to military assistance to Ukraine: €5 billion per year for the next four years. This is within the framework of the same instrument, the European Peace Fund, but now it will be a special line,” EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said at a press conference following the meeting of the EU Council in Brussels.
