EU ratifies new sanctions against Russia

The EU has finally approved the sixth package of sanctions against Russia.
Report informs citing RIA Novosti that the new restrictive measures include the EU countries' refusal to import Russian oil for six months, oil products - for eight months; phasing out oil from Russia transported by sea, with a temporary exception made for pipeline deliveries.
In addition, it is planned to disconnect Sberbank, Rosselkhozbank, and Moscow Credit Bank from SWIFT; a ban on broadcasting in Europe of Russian TV channels - Russia RTR / RTR Planet, Russia 24, TV Center-International, with the TV channel employees allowed to continue their work.
