EU imposes sanctions against Russian judges, prosecutors

The European Union (EU) has published the provisions of the recently approved sanctions against Russia, Report informs via Russia media.
New sanctions are imposed on the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service and they directly affect 19 people. According to the EU, the reason for this is the violation of human rights in the country.
The EU has imposed restrictions on a number of Russian judges and prosecutors. Most of them are related to the criminal case against late politician Alexei Navalny.
Furthermore, restrictions have affected the supply of equipment and technologies for the production of bombs, explosives, and firearms.
