EU foreign ministers to discuss Middle East conflict and sanctions against Russia

Foreign ministers of the European Union member states will discuss the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as approve the 18th package of sanctions against Russia during a meeting scheduled to take place in Luxembourg.

According to Report, the foreign ministers will also make another attempt to impose sanctions on several Israeli ministers over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. However, due to the lack of consensus, the likelihood of such a decision being adopted remains extremely low.

This EU foreign ministers' meeting will be the last one before the NATO summit scheduled for June 24–25 in The Hague, and the EU leaders' summit set to take place on June 26–27 in Brussels. Therefore, ministers will also discuss preparations for these upcoming summits.
