Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may hold a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin this week, Report informs referring to the newspaper "Hürriyet."
According to the newspaper, after Erdogan's telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, during which the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and the possibility of peace talks were discussed, Erdogan may contact Putin.
The conversation between the Turkish and American leaders took place on March 16. Erdogan's administration reported that he supported Washington's efforts to resolve the situation in Ukraine.
Hürriyet notes that Ankara is satisfied with the results of the talks with Trump.
