Denmark will transfer the first F-16 fighters to Ukraine in the summer, the Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said, Report informs via Reuters.
“We will transfer the first F-16 fighters to Ukraine this summer. The new aid package for Kyiv will include air defense systems, drones and 15,000 artillery shells,” he said.
The Netherlands and Denmark were the first to agree to provide Ukraine with F-16s. The White House has confirmed that Ukraine will receive combat aircraft from third countries once its pilots complete training.
