Czech health minister resigns due to COVID-19

Czech Health Minister Adam Vojtech has announced his resignation amid an increase in the country's coronavirus cases, Report informs, referring to RIA Novosti.
"After serious consideration, I decided to resign as Minister of Health," he said.
The minister wanted to find new solutions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Vojtech had already informed Prime Minister Andrei Babish about his decision.
The people infected in the Czech Republic has risen sharply in recent weeks. On September 17, the number of new patients reached 3,130, which is the highest among Central European countries. Many politicians in the country, especially the opposition, believe that the Ministry of Health is late in making essential decisions against the pandemic.
