Commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz increased on June 20 as US armed forces continued operating in the area to ensure freedom of navigation.
According to Report, the safe passage through the international waterway remained ensured today: 55 merchant vessels transited, carrying large volumes of cargo and more than 17 million barrels of oil to global markets.
The Joint Maritime Information Center issued an advisory notice this week confirming safe passage for all vessels along the established route, free from arbitrary requirements or obstacles.
US armed forces maintain their presence and vigilance to ensure compliance, implementation, and the full force and effect of all aspects of the agreement with Iran.
