Canada is imposing sanctions against individuals and entities in relation to Russia's malign interference activities in Moldova ahead of the country's next parliamentary elections, which will be held on September 28, 2025, Report informs referring to the Canada Government website.
The restrictions are being introduced against 16 individuals and two legal entities, including the head of Gagauzia Evghenia Gutul, the opposition Victory/Pobeda Political Bloc and the Public Association-Association of People with Epaulettes "Scutul Poporului."
