Brazil to help rebuild Venezuelan cities after earthquake

Brazilian authorities are considering participating in the restoration of Venezuela's infrastructure damaged by the devastating earthquake, Report informs referring to the portal Brasil 247.

According to the publication, Brazilian Defense Minister José Múcio Monteiro, during a visit to Caracas, stated the need for long-term strengthening of cooperation between the two countries to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.

"We will explore how else we can help. From now on, Brazil and Venezuela are united," the defense minister said following a meeting with the leadership of the Bolivarian Republic.

According to the minister, representatives of Brazilian financial institutions have also arrived in Venezuela to assess the country's long-term participation in the reconstruction efforts.
