Board of Peace unveils roadmap for Gaza peace plan

The Board of Peace has published a roadmap for completing the implementation of US President Donald Trump's Comprehensive Peace Plan for the Gaza Strip.

According to Report, the roadmap was published on the Board of Peace's official page on X.

The roadmap provides for a phased ceasefire, the transfer of civilian administration in Gaza to the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces. Its implementation is to take place under international supervision.

The document places particular emphasis on security issues. It calls for the implementation of the principle of One Authority, One Law, One Weapon, the vetting of police personnel, the transfer of police weapons under the control of the NCAG, and the gradual decommissioning of heavy weapons, weapons depots, military production facilities, and tunnels. Weapons belonging to armed groups are to be decommissioned and placed in storage under NCAG supervision, while members of those groups will not be allowed to join the Palestinian security forces or police.

The roadmap also provides for the deployment of temporary International Stabilization Forces (ISF), which would monitor compliance with the ceasefire, assist in training the Palestinian police, and ensure the protection and delivery of humanitarian aid. The ISF will not perform policing functions with regard to the Palestinian population.

A separate section is devoted to civilian administration. Under the plan, the NCAG is expected to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of government institutions and public services, conduct an audit of financial and administrative activities in Gaza, and settle verified obligations to suppliers and contractors totaling up to $400 million. The rights of public sector employees are to be protected in accordance with Palestinian legislation.

The roadmap also calls for an agreement aimed at ending internal violence and preventing reprisals, shows of force, and armed actions.

The final section of the document focuses on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. Reconstruction and its financing are to be carried out under a separate plan and timetable prepared and supervised by the Board of Peace (BoP) and the NCAG.
