US President Joe Biden will travel to Jordan after making a wartime solidarity visit to Israel on Wednesday, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby says, Report informs via the Times of Israel.
While in Amman, he will meet with Jordan’s King Abdullah, Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas for sit-downs to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Kirby says.
Biden “will reiterate that Hamas does not stand for the Palestinian people’s right to dignity and self-determination and discuss the humanitarian needs of civilians in Gaza,” the White House later adds in a statement.
