Joe Biden agreed to join the presidential race as a Democratic candidate, Report says, citing TASS.
At an online party convention in Milwaukee, he said that the character of the current American leader Donald Trump had extreme anger, fear, and disagreement. "If you elect me president, I will give you a happy future. I accept the offer to run for president of the United States with great pride and pleasure," Biden added.
The Democrats have approved him as a candidate for the US presidency.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 3. Trump will be a Republican candidate.
