Azerbaijani woman appointed department head at New York City Hall

Rana Abbasova, an Azerbaijani living in the United States, has been appointed head of the International Relations Department of the New York City Hall, Report informs.
Abbasova was appointed to the post by the newly elected mayor of New York, Eric Adams.
Rana Abbasova and Eric Adams have been working on the same team since 2016, when the latter was the head of the Brooklyn borough of New York.
