Lebanon will need at least 6-7 years to overcome the current economic crisis, Lebanese President Michel Aoun told a local TV, Report informs.
The head of state noted that unemployment and poverty reached record levels in Lebanon during the two-year crisis.
“Lebanon is clearly changing. The changes will be both ideological and practical, as we face the current situation due to robbery, corruption, system errors and failures,” Aoun said.
The economic crisis in Lebanon continues from 2019.
