Antony Blinken's visit to Israel kicks off

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to Israel has begun, Report informs, citing the US Embassy in Jerusalem.
It was noted that Blinken arrived at Israel's Ben Gurion airport.
The US Secretary of State is expected to hold a number of meetings in Israel today and discuss the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel.
It is reported that Blinken intends to hold discussions to reach an agreement on an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
To note that this is Blinken's sixth visit to Israel since the beginning of the war in the Middle East in October 2023.
