Amazon cuts ties with 21 Air after fatal Miami crash

Amazon has notified the management of cargo carrier 21 Air of its decision to suspend cooperation following a plane crash at a Miami, Florida, airport that killed five people, Report informs referring to The Wall Street Journal.

"Safety has always been our top priority - both in our own operations and when working with partners. We will continue to support the investigation and all those affected," Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel said.

21 Air is owned by logistics magnate and baseball team owner Jim Crane. In addition to Amazon, his company also provides services to DHL Express.
