Access to Chisinau International Airport will be limited from September 11, Report informs referring to Moldovan media citing the border police.
The measure is related to the large influx of pilgrims who will transit Moldova in the period from September 11 to 22.
“Due to the large number of pilgrims from Israel, who will transit through the territory of the Republic of Moldova from September 11 to September 22, 2023, going back and forth to/from Ukraine, measures will be taken to simplify passenger flow when crossing the border through Chisinau International Airport and eliminating security risks,” the message says.
