77‑year‑old Azerbaijani killed by Russian drone strike in Ukraine

A 77‑year‑old Azerbaijani man, Elmar Aliyev, was killed in Ukraine's Sumy Oblast after a Russian army drone strike.
According to Report's Eastern Europe bureau, Aliyev, born in 1949, was driving his car in the Velyka Pysarivka district near the Russian border when a drone carrying a hand grenade targeted him. He died instantly at the scene.
Aliyev, originally from Azerbaijan's Beylagan district, was a Ukrainian citizen. His body has been sent to Azerbaijan for burial.
