    5.5-magnitude earthquake shakes Papua New Guinea

    A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck Papua New Guinea, Report informs, citing the US Geological Survey.

    The tremors were recorded around 24 km southwest of Kokopo, at a depth of 100 km.

    There have been no reports of casualties or damage yet.
