A major theft has occurred at the Lalique Jewelry Museum in Wingen‑sur‑Moder, France, with stolen items valued at approximately €4 million.
According to Report, citing Le Parisien, around 20 pieces of jewelry were taken.
The robbery happened at about 5:30 a.m. (GMT+2). The intruders went straight to the jewelry hall after entering the building. Despite the alarm being triggered, they managed to escape. A cleaning staff member arrived first while the security company investigated the alarm, and then called the police.
It is noted that after the Louvre robbery in October 2025, the Lalique Museum was placed under special surveillance as a sensitive site.
Opened in 2011 next to René Laliqueəs factory, the museum is dedicated to the French artist and jeweler's work and houses more than 650 exhibits.
