Four police officers were killed in a helicopter crash in the Antioquia region of Colombia, said police, Report informs, citing Anadolu.
National Police Director General William Salamanca confirmed in a statement on X that the Black Hawk-type helicopter belonging to the air force crashed in the village of San Pablo, which is affiliated with Antioquia.
Search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area.
President Gustavo Petro expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased police officers on his social media account.
An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched.
