130 missing after passenger vessel sinks in Java Sea

Rescuers in Indonesia are searching for a second day for 130 people missing after a passenger vessel sank in the Java Sea, Report informs referring to the local rescue service.
According to the latest data, 622 people and about 12 vessels are involved in the operation.
As of the morning of September 14, six people have died, and another 107 passengers and crew members have been rescued.
The Virgo Transport 8, which had 243 people on board, went missing during a severe storm over the weekend.
An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
