12 killed in mass shooting in Johannesburg

In the Cleveland suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa, 12 people were killed and 9 injured in a shooting overnight.

According to Report, citing local Enca, 11 people died at the scene, while one later died from injuries in hospital.

The injured have been hospitalized; no details about their condition have been released.

According to preliminary information, more than 10 armed men entered the settlement and opened fire on residents before fleeing the scene by car.

The motive for the attack is currently unknown.
