Yemeni Parliament Speaker thanks Azerbaijan for humanitarian aid

Sultan Saeed Al-Barakani, Speaker of Yemen's House of Representatives, expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for the moral and humanitarian assistance.

According to Report, he made the statement during a meeting with Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis.

Al-Barakani noted his country's interest in developing relations with Azerbaijan and expressed satisfaction with the progress observed in the matter.

The official shared his views on cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including the prospects for strengthening inter-parliamentary relations.

The meeting also highlighted the unique role of parliamentary cooperation in deepening bilateral ties. It was noted that establishing friendship groups in the legislative bodies of both countries would make a significant contribution to the development of relations.

The Yemeni Parliament Speaker is visiting Azerbaijan to attend the 20th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States.
