Snap parliamentary elections kick off in Azerbaijan

Voting has commenced in the snap elections for the Milli Majlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The elections are being conducted across 6,478 polling stations established within the territory of 125 electoral districts nationwide.
Notably, 54 of these polling stations have been set up in the liberated territories. The polling stations opened their doors at 8:00 am (GMT+4) and will continue to operate until 7:00 PM.
A total of 990 candidates are vying for 125 parliamentary seats in the elections. According to official figures, the total number of registered voters in Azerbaijan stands at 6,421,960.
