Sahiba Gafarova: Azerbaijani people perceive terrible earthquake in Türkiye as their tragedy

The Azerbaijani people perceive the devastating earthquake that occurred in Türkiye as their tragedy and mobilized forces and capabilities to assist in eliminating the consequences in the disaster zone, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said at the plenary session of the Parliament.

Report informs that, according to her, new evidence of fraternal relations between the two peoples is emerging these days:

"Kinship and unity of hearts, shown both at the interstate level, at the level of heads of state, and ordinary people, once again proved the fact that Azerbaijan and Türkiye are 'one nation, two states.'

The speaker expressed confidence that a strong Turkish state will cope with this grave tragedy.
