No int’l orgs voiced concerns regarding election preparations in Azerbaijan

International organizations have not raised any objections regarding the preparations for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, scheduled for September 1, 2024, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov told Report.
Panahov emphasized that security measures and adherence to legislative requirements have been strictly implemented:
“Administrative buildings provided to all constituencies and precincts meet the requirements. Buildings with all kinds of conditions were chosen in the liberated territories to hold the elections at a high level. The buildings meet high standards and are an example for all regions,” he said.
