The number of journalists engaged in racketeering is immense because companies, company executives, and officials support them, MP Vahid Ahmadov said in the discussion of the first reading of the draft law "On Media" at today's parliamentary session, Report informs.
According to him, it is imperative to have a Media Register: "We want the media to be free in order for them to get interviews and statements from ministers and people they want."
