Last plenary meeting of Azerbaijani parliament’s spring session scheduled for May 30

The last plenary meeting of the spring session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan is set to be held on May 30, Speaker of the parliament, Sahiba Gafarova, stated at the conclusion of today's plenary meeting, Report informs.

Gafarova noted that additional information about the agenda of the plenary session will be provided.

According to the first paragraph of Part I of Article 88 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Milli Majlis convenes for two regular spring and autumn sessions each year. The spring session begins on February 1 and continues until May 31.

The autumn session begins on September 30 and continues until December 30. If February 1 and September 30 fall on a weekend, voting day, or a non-working holiday, the session begins on the first working day following that date.
