Azerbaijani MP proposes to raise military budget

The state budget of Azerbaijan has allocated sufficient funds for the military, MP Elman Nasirov said during the discussion of next year's state budget envelope at today's plenary session of parliament.

"According to the Defense Ministry, the situation on the border remains tense, and combat operations are underway. I propose to further increase our military budget," he added.
