Azerbaijan to increase minimum amount of labor pension

The minimum amount of labor pension will be increased in Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the draft amendment to the law "On Labor Pensions" has been submitted to the Milli Majlis.

According to the project, the minimum amount of labor pension will be increased by 40 manats ($23.53) from 240 manats ($141.18) to 280 manats ($164.71).

If passed, the bill will enter into force on February 1, 2023.

The amendment project will be discussed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee for Labour and Social Policy in the coming days.
