Azerbaijan starts procedures to open embassy in Portugal

The Azerbaijani Parliamentary Committee on International and Interparliamentary Relations has recommended the bill on the establishment of an Azerbaijani embassy in Portugal for consideration at an extraordinary parliamentary session, Report informs.
The bill "On the Establishment of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Portuguese Republic" stipulates that the embassy will be located in Lisbon.
The bill was adopted at the committee meeting and recommended for consideration at an extraordinary session.
Portuguese President Antonio Jose Seguro, in a congratulatory letter addressed to President Ilham Aliyev on June 5, emphasized that the opening of the embassies will contribute to the development of bilateral ties.
