Next year's state budget is the largest in the history of Azerbaijan's independence, First Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynli said during the discussion of the documents included in the state budget envelope for the year at a joint meeting of the Parliamentary Committees for Law Policy and State Building, Defence, Security and Counter-Corruption, Human Rights, International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Connexions, and the Disciplinary Commission.

He noted that although Azerbaijan spent a lot of money both during and after the war, the current budget is a clear example of how powerful the Azerbaijani state is.
