Turkish TUSAS to demonstrate new generation fighter jet in Baku

The Turkish company TUSAS will demonstrate the first HURJET jet trainer and one of the world’s 5th generation fighter jet projects at the ADEX-2022 International Defense Exhibition in Baku, Report informs with reference to Anadolu Agency.

As part of the event, TUSAS will present its developments in the field of aviation and space.

“Visitors of ADEX will also be presented aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles and space projects, in particular, the first Turkish training aircraft HURKUS,” the company said.

In addition, it is planned to evaluate the possibilities of regional cooperation with the delegations that will take part in the exhibition.

TUSAS General Manager Temel Kotil expressed his satisfaction that the company will be able to share its projects, which are closely watched by the whole world, within the ADEX.

“Earlier, we met with the youth of Azerbaijan as part of TEKNOFEST. This time we will meet with state and military representatives of the countries of the region. We will have the opportunity to discuss potential cooperation in many areas with the friendly and brotherly country of Azerbaijan,” Kotil said.

The exhibition will be held on September 6-8 in Azerbaijan with the participation of more than 200 companies from 32 countries.

Among the participants are leading companies in the industry from Turkiye, Russia, China, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and others. As part of the international exhibition, eight national stands will be organized.
